Dear DDDers of NYC:

After almost three years of running the group, I am moving back to San Francisco and will no longer be able to contribute.

Steve Bohlen has tentatively agreed to take over as the group organizer, however he needs your active assistance in running the group, otherwise he won't be able to do it given his already extremely busy schedule.

We are asking for 2-3 volunteers to assist Steve with organizing meetups, suggesting topics, finding speakers, and doing all other things that make the group interesting and worthy of attending each month. There is not a lot of work required to run a group of this size, but its more than Steve feels he can reliably do by himself.

Please let myself or Steve know by the end of September if you want to help. If nobody volunteers to assist Steve, we are going to have to shut the group down, and it will be very sad to see it die.
