DDD Exercise, Part III (re-scheduled from August)

This location is shown only to members

IMPORTANT: VENUE CHANGE
We are going to hold this meetup at a new venue at Liquidnet offices (see the address below).

---------------------------------
Bruce Gordon from Domain Language (Eric Evans' company) will try out some new training material on us as beta/guinea pigs.

In the two previous meetings we covered parts 1 and 2 of a new module developed by Bruce and Eric Evans in which small groups improve the design and code of the domain layer of a simplified system. In this meeting we will complete part 3.

In the exercises we apply a range of the DDD patterns. We'll break up into groups of 3 or 4 for brainstorming and groups of 2 for programming.

Although it will be helpful if a core of people come to all three meetings, if you can only attend this one you will still get value from the session.

Since these are programming exercises, it will help if you bring your laptops. One per team will be enough. The exercise code is in Java, so you will need to download and install the latest version of Eclipse IDE for Java Developers for your platform from Eclipse Downloads Page. And don't worry if Java is not your primary language - we should have enough Java people to pair up with.
