During our March meeting we will continue working on the Wikipedia article on DDD.

Last time, we created an outline of the article and provided the definition of DDD.
This time, we will break up into a few groups, each will work on a particular DDD topic, such as Fundamental Concepts, Strategic DDD, Tactical DDD, and will integrate that into the article at the end of the meeting.

Since this will be an interactive working session, it would help if as many attendees as possible try to bring one or more of the following items to this meeting:

  • a laptop computer with word processor software installed (since we will be drafting plain ASCII text to eventually post to Wikipedia, the specific word processor software you have shouldn't really matter)
  • a downloaded copy of the DDD Patterns Summary (Creative Commons content) Word Document to use as source material for the Wikipedia entry
  • a copy of the Domain Driven Design book by Eric Evans (if you already own a copy and have it handy) for reference

We look forward to seeing you all there; this should be a really interesting exercise with an opportunity to provide some valuable benefit to the DDD community at-large while refreshing what we know about DDD.

NEW LOCATION WARNING: since the repairs at the Microsoft offices have completed, we are moving back there.
Please don't forget to bring a photo ID to get access to our meeting location.
